Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a light touch, gentle therapy which enhances the functions of all the body’s systems on both a physical and mental level.

The cranio sacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord as well as the bones to which the membranes attach. These membranes extend from the bones of the skull down the spine to the sacrum or tailbone area and everything in between.

By using a light touch I aim to evaluate the cranio sacral system and discover where any restrictions may be held. By using gentle release techniques and following the body’s response, my aim is to assist and encourage the body to release any restrictions held and allow it to relax fully.

Because of the gentle nature of CST and as there is no manipulation or strain put on the body, it is suitable for all ages and is especially helpful for newborns.

CST has been found to be very beneficial for :

  • Conception
  • Pregnancy for mum and baby
  • Babies & infants for colic, sleeplessness, and other infantile disorders.
  • Head, neck, and back pain.
  • TMJ and Fibromyalgia,
  • Anxiety, stress and tension for adults and children.
  • And many other conditions.

"...I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again..." - William Penn (1644 – 1718)
