This type of head massage focuses on the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, and face. A combination of massage techniques stimulates these areas to help release any areas of stress. It also improves circulation of fluids and oxygen in the upper body which helps to clear sinuses and relieve stress.
In times of stress, we tend to tense up our shoulders and neck, and clench our jaw, causing us stiffness and pain. As Indian Head Massage focuses on these areas of the body, it is an extremely effective treatment for relieving stress and tension held in the head, neck, and shoulder areas. Although the treatment focuses on the upper torso and head, the benefits are felt throughout the body. It also helps calm and relax the body and the mind, allowing you to totally relax.
As part of this treatment, I also work on the various sinus points to help with sinus and nasal issues.
Oils can be used on the hair and scalp which can help with hair condition, if required.
